Changing System Settings on Windows Server 2008 Standard Systems

To switch the Server Role to Application Server:

1. Click Control Panel > System and Security > System. The System control panel opens.

2. Click “Advanced system settings” on the left of the window. The System Properties

dialog box opens.

3. Click the Advanced tab and click Settings in the Performance area. The Performance

Options dialog box opens,

4. Click the Advanced tab.

5. In the Processor scheduling area, under “Adjust for best performance of”, select
